Mustang, June 23, 2015: A trade fair has been started the week-long trade fair some 11 kms far from the Nepal-Tibet border area by the Tibetan traders on Monday.
In the fair the officials of Tibet have provided identity cards to Nepali visitors to ensure their entry for the certain period.It is said that Nepalis have thronged in the trade fair to buy clothing, furniture, cosmetics and other goods in the Tibetan fair. In earlier time, Nepalis were not allowed to enter into the Tibetan land from the border.
Bista said that this time the Tibetan traders did not allow Nepalis to trade their produce unlike previous years where Nepalis used to trade Nepali produces including woolen items, potatoes and others. The large-scale of business takes place in the week-long fair, said Indra Dhara Bista, a local of Lho Monthang in Mustang.
