Wild Elephant Kills One In Sunsari

May 21, 2015: A person in Sunsari is killed by the attack of wild elephant. Police confirms the deceased is Prem Bahadur Magar, 65, of Haripur VDC-5.

Wild elephant came out of the wildlife reserve on Wednesday evening and attacked Magar around 4 in the morning. According to Sanjaya Raj Sharma, superintendent of police of Sunsari he was dead on the spot.

Locals said the wildlife reserve is has shown no interest to control the elephants attack. Elephant attacks has increased in Sunsari after the flood in Koshi 5 years ago.

One people was killed in 2068 BS and two people are surviving being a disable after elephant attack.
