Beni,  16 December 2105: An elderly woman living at the old age home in Galeswor of Myagdi has donated her property to be used for various religious activities.

Bhadra Giri,77, of Bajung in Parbat donated property worth Rs. 1.3 million in memory of her late husband Hari Singh. The donation has been made for construction of a Shiva linga in Galeswor temple, construction of a statute of King Bharat, food arrangement for the elderly people and cash donation to the Sheshnag and Tulai matha, according to Office Secretary of the Galeswar Shivalaya Area Development Trust Yogendra KC.

Giri has been living in the old age home since the past 15 years, and has been involved in social work as well. “I cannot keep the property for myself, helping others is in fact religion”, she said.
