Kathmandu, March 12, 2018: With an aim to bridge the gap between Nepali female leaders and the young women who aspire to become leaders, Women Lead Nepal is all set to organize leadership summit ‘Own IT Nepal’ on March 31, 2018, at Bougainvilla, Tripureshwor.
The one-day conference aims to bring as many as 200 young women between the age 18-26 who aspire to become future leaders of Nepal. However, it is open to women, men, and gender non-conforming individuals who are enthusiastic to champion women’s leadership.
The event includes three on-stage panels that all participants must attend. It also features nine different experiential sessions: three sessions from 10:45am- 11:45am, three sessions from 11:50pm-12:50pm and three sessions from 1:55-2:55pm. The participants can choose three out of nine different experiential sessions to attend.
The experiential sessions include breakout sessions (topic based), workshops (skill based), and office hours (relationship based) where there will interaction between participants and speakers.
The main motive of the conference is to bring together youth who are eager to contribute to their country through their potentiality in art, business, journalism, politics public service. It also aims to provide the common platform to the leaders and aspiring youths to share their ideas and personal experiences.
Women Lead Nepal is a nonprofit youth organization which works to empower young women by providing personal and professional skills to become leaders.
