Women’s Day Celebration Ended Motivating All the Female Taekwondo Players

Kathmandu, March 10, 2019: On the occasion of International women’s day, women’s day celebration was successfully held in Nepal Adoration Society, Karuna Kinder House, Godavari 3 on March 8, 2019, organized by Karuna Kinder House. 

The event covered of Culture dances, Taekwondo Demonstration and Graduation for the Black Belt holders. This program was basically organized for the enhancement of young women’s skills and to uplift their interest to something fruitful.

As a chief guest, Gajendra Maharjan (Mayor) was present. Likewise, Special guest, Muna Adhikari, Deputy Mayor of Godavari municipality, Balmukunda Ghimire, President of Godavari municipality ward no.3, Father Robin Rai (Ishalaya- Church, Godavari), Mother Dipa SAABS (Director of Nepal Adoration Society), President of Nepal Adoration society, Chiendra Satyal including other guests were present in the event.

Similarly, Welcome speech was given by Mangal Tamang, secretary of Nepal Adoration Society. During the same occasion, black belt was distributed to young and courageous female Taekwondo players, Sarita Ghale, Ajita Lama, Mariya Pun, Rima Shah, Sapana Nepali and Calara Lamichhene. Belt distribution program continued along with the junior belts as well.

The program concluded with a very motivating speech of Gajendra Maharjan saying that all the bold and lionhearted women present during the program can do much better and can be an example for the nation and for the people. It is important to uplift the status of women in the field of sports and taekwondo is doing a great job.
