May 11,2015: Worth Rs. 10 million was handed over to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Rescue Fund for earthquake victims by the Civil servants of 62 government offices in Dhanusha on Sunday.
According to Acting Chief District Officer Hari Prasad Bastola, The District Postal Office collected Rs 332,000, Transport Management Office Rs 79,349 and Inland Revenue Office Rs 88,363 for the fund. He added that the amount sent by other government offices is unknown since the amount was directly channeled to PM`s Fund.
However, a total of Rs 10 million has been sent for the PM’s Fund where employees from 62 different government offices including District Administration Office, District Police Office and District Education Office provided a portion of their allowances for the Fund.
And as per the source, the collection of relief is still continuing.
