Kathmandu, June 5, 2017: Yeti Development Bank Ltd is to renovate zebra crossing at nine places of Kathmandu Valley.
The Bank is to carry out maintenance of zebra crossing at nine places around Durbar Marg and its surrounding areas at special coordination of Traffic Police Office, Durbar Marg.
At a programme organised at the Traffic Police Office, Durbar Marg, on Sunday, Acting Executive Officer of the Bank, Dipesh Lamsal, and Chief of the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division, Deputy Inspector General, Mingmar Lama, signed the agreement.
Saying 40-45 per cent people were killed in course of crossing road haphazardly every year, DIG Lama said that all should be united for social work.
Acting Executive Officer of the Bank, Lamsal, expressed commitment in such work in days ahead, expressing happiness for their support to the traffic police in their campaign.
