Kathmandu, January 7, 2019: Yeti Model United Nations (YMUN) is going to be held in King’s college, Babarmahal from 18th -20th January, 2019. The organising committee is expecting more than 200 participants from A-Level and +2 colleges along with the colleges from out-of-valley. The registration fee is Rs 3,500 which includes food and all the materials required for the conference. The delegates will be divided into 5 committees where they will be assigned different countries. The five committees includes UN Women, UNSC, DISEC, World Bank and Nepal Parliament.The event also includes socials like live music on the second day and delegate dance on the third day.

YMUN is a platform where delegates can gain insight of the working of the UN and the dynamics of International Relations by assuming the role of a representative of a specific country and being part of the ongoing conversation revolving around relevant global issues which they try to solve through discussions, debates and cooperation. The participating youths develop their debating skills by the orientation of researched based discussion, negotiating skills by strengthening critical thinking skill, and resolution writing skill by concluding the discussed global issue in favor of future world.
