Morang, August 19, 2015: In protest against the ongoing banda or strike called by different Madhesh-centric parties, various youth organizations have come out against banda, claiming that the enforcers had become anarchic.
Protest against banda was carried by The Youth Association Nepal Morang, Tarun Dal Morang, YCL Morang, Nepal Transport Independent Workers Association Morang and Mornag Taxi Entrepreneurs Association.
For being violent and also avenging personal feuds, they have accused the banda enforcers. President of YAN Morang Mukesh Budathoki said that the banda enforcers attacked him and destroyed his house.
As banda was depriving people of their source of livelihood, transport entrepreneurs have also called for seeking an alternative to strikes.
