Kathmandu, Aug. 2: CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said it is a challenge to dispel the mistrust towards politicians among the youths.

Addressing a function to hand over the Manaram Library and distribution of awards organised by the Manaram Foundation in Kathmandu on Saturday, leader Nepal said,” It is unfortunate that our young minds are getting the impression that the political leaders only give assurances and do not live up to their words, and that they also give protection to the wrong tendencies which does not augur well.”

He said like in society, all people are not the same in politics also, noting that the youths should support politics done with the feeling of serving the people and the society in the true sense and punish the wrong tendencies carried out in the name of the people.

The Foundation plans to establish a library each in every school in all the 75 districts of the country.

On the occasion, leader Nepal handed over libraries to 32 schools of as many districts. On the occasion, a revolving fund of Rs 100,000 was set up in the name of two people – a representative of the Manaram Foundation and another from the school – in the counter of Megha Bank for running the library.
