Kathmandu, December 18, 2018: Application for Smart Urban Technology Challenge 2018 is now open. The competition is open to the teams of individuals who are Nepalese citizens; residing in Nepal or elsewhere with the idea, concept or product that have the features of novelty, innovation and creativity.
Smart Urban Technology Challenge is an initiative of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) to bring out entrepreneurial spirit within Nepalese community to identify and solve problems related to urban development. It is a platform for creative and innovative Nepalese youths living in Kathmandu and elsewhere to use modern technologies to solve problems related to urban development by taking the geography of Kathmandu Municipality as their pilot area.
