Kathmandu, November 19, 2018: Green Earth Alliance (GEA) is organizing first International Conference on “Sustainable Mountain Development & Tourism (SMDT)” from 22nd to 23rd November 2018, at Kathmandu.
The motive of the conference is to raises some unaddressed yet fragile issue about the conditions of the mountains that are under the threat from climate change, overexploitation, and natural disasters. The conference will also focus on the challenges to identify & explore innovative, community-centric and sustainable livelihood opportunities to help the local community without disturbing its culture, heritage & ecosystem.
