Kathmandu, January 29, 2018: Nepal based company, Oya INC., has successfully marked the conclusion on its intensive, youth focused training, networking and mentorship event ‘Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2018 (GEB 2018)’. The event hosted in in Bangkok, Thailand invited radiant entrepreneurs, ingenious young entrepreneurs and enterprises from all over the world.
With 80 attendees from 20 different countries, GEB 2018 divided these participants into 12 teams who collaborated with one another for 4 days to create a viable business model out of the participants’ business ideas. The presence of 14 mentors, speakers and experience innovators guided the teams to work on their business models. GEB 2018 brought extensive notable personalities as its speakers. They shared their experiences and also the fundamentals of entrepreneurship to help participants with their startups.
The event hosted multiple networking sessions that promoted the cultural identity of participating nations and strengthened the network between attendees. Unique sessions like coffee breaks, cruise dinner, and cultural night enhanced the sense of collaboration, compassion and helped teams collude more effectively and pitch a finer business model.

MeetSuccess, HandiConnect, Guliyo, B-Teer, ExploreAgri, Agromate, Red Olive 10 Minutes School Language Interpreter, Vastra and Wedding Knot were the final ideas that were pitched in the event.
After the final presentations, Guliyo with team members Agadh Malla(Nepal), Sujhan Ghimire(Nepal), Ari Sanjaya(Indonesia), and Suman Paudel(Nepal) bagged the award for best business model. HandiConnect with team members Dexter Wilson (Trinidad and Tobago), Tafhimur Rahman(Bangladesh), Elias Hailemariam(Ethiopia), Pooja Sankpal(India), and Pratisth Pradhan(Nepal) won the best team award for their commendable performance during the Bootcamp. 10 Minutes School with team members Zubaer Bin Alam(Bangladesh), Everest Pudasaini(Nepal), Sadik Al Sarker(Bangladesh), and Amrit Sharma(Nepal) secured third place in the Bootcamp.
The Bootcamp commenced the conclusion with a short closing ceremony thanking the participants and the mentors present in the event.
