Kathmandu, Aug. 2: The government is welcoming Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, to the country amidst adequate security arrangements Sunday. It has said that Z-plus security arrangements have been made for Modi’s visit.


The Ministry of Home Affairs has beefed-up capital’s security for Modi’s visit who is arriving here on a two-day official visit on Sunday morning.  Security checks at main gateways to the capital, roads and chowks have been intensified keeping in mind Modi’s Nepal visit, a Spokesperson for the Home Ministry Laxmi Prasad Dhakal said.    The Nepalese Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department will be deputed for the security of Indian special guest.
