Kathmandu, December 15, 2018: Pokhara University has successfully concluded the second edition of Hult Prize at Pokhara University that was held on 13th December 2018 at the Nepal Tourism Board. Team ‘Rudra’ from Apex College won the competition with the winning idea focused on recycled plastic products. Similarly, Team ‘One Step’ from Nepal Engineering College was the runner-up of the event finale and their idea was based on air pollution. There was the participation of twelve teams from Pokhara University and affiliated colleges competed in the on-campus event.
The program was judged by a panel of 7 judges namely, Prof. Dr. Sunity Shrestha Hada– President, Operational Research Society of Nepal (ORSN), Mr. Narottam Aryal – Executive Director at Kings College, Mr. Hari Kumar Silwal – Chartered Accountant, Mr. Rohit Tiwari – CEO of Food Mario, Mr. Avash Koirala – Director, Jobs Dynamics Pvt. Ltd. , Mr. Bishnu Karki – Business Manager at Mero Job and Mr. Jiten Shrestha, Lecturer, Kathmandu University.
