Kathmandu, June 14, 2018: The Sharpeners Nepal is organizing a fun based quiz competition titled ‘QUIZTOPIA’ with an aim of promoting edutainment. The competition will be held on 6th and 7th of Jestha, 2075 at GoldenGate International College, Battisputali, Kathmandu.
The initial selection for the competition was held on 24th of Jestha and the final will be held on the 7th of Ashad, 2075 at GoldenGate International College, Battisputali, Kathmandu. A total of 200 teams from the various schools the Valley participated in the initial selection phase that was held at GoldenGate International College, Battisputali, Kathmandu. A total of 12 teams have been selected for the semifinal stage which will be held on 6th of Ashad followed by finals on the next day.
This contest is different from conventional rote-learning-based forms of quiz contest in terms of the format as well as the constituent question. The quiz contest focuses on checking a range of important skills of the students like common sense, estimation capacity, and knowledge of issues across the globe.
