Kathmandu, March 16, 2018: With the theme ‘Together Towards Safer Anesthesia’, the Society of Anesthesiologist of Nepal (SAN) is all set to organize nineteenth ‘SAN Annual Conference of Society of Anesthesiologists of Nepal (SANCON) 2018’ on March 17, 2018, at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu.
The conference includes series of sessions namely thematic session, scientific sessions, free papers, residents’ competitive sessions, posters from national and international delegates. One best resident presentation and best poster will also be awarded a token of appreciation.
The conference aims to provide a platform to the participants to strengthen and bond multidisciplinary relation with other medical faculties for better patient care. It will also provide an opportunity to explore academic exchanges and cooperation among various national and international teaching institutes and broaden the horizon of opportunity as well.
SANCON 2018 will also be a forum to offer and explore specialist training related to the field of anesthesiology, critical care, pain medicine, cardiothoracic anesthesia and other related fields. It also gives an opportunity to get information of the latest world-class technologies through the industrial exhibits.
According to Professor Dr. Bishwas Pradhan, President of Society of Anesthesiologists of Nepal, the conference is being organized with the motto of providing safe and quality anesthesia to all the patients in need. It also aims to link with the societies of various countries who are in the position of extending helping hands by providing post-graduate training to produce more anesthesiologist in the countries.
