Kathmandu- April 18, 2018: Glocal Teen Hero Model United Nations (GTHMUN) is proud to
announce the opening of registration for conference delegates. GTHMUN is a distinctive
platform in the form of simulation of the United Nations for Nepali Teenagers to learn about
diplomacy, international relations and the United Nations. GTHMUN is proudly organized by
Glocal Pvt. Ltd, a company led and run with a vision to create synergies.
With the concept of Teens for Sustainable development goals, GTH-MUN is being organized
from 26-28 July, 2018 at Ageno: The Hestia in Jawalakhel to cater the needs of MUN, led and
delegated by teenagers and youths.
The overall aim of GTHMUN is to familiarize the Nepali teenagers with the ongoing global
issues that have the most impact on the teens all around the globe and broaden their horizons and
immediate problem-solving skills. It also acts out as a great platform for them to make and
expand extensive networks with delegates from different corners of Nepal. Apart from this,
GTHMUN provides a great opportunity for the budding diplomats to showcase their leadership
skills.
Any teenager with an interest to explore the world of diplomacy is eligible to participate in
GTHMUN. GTHMUN involves researching, public speaking, debating, writing, critical
thinking, teamwork and enhancement of leadership abilities among the teenagers. Unlike
traditional Model United Nations, the participants delegating different nations across the world
specifically discuss on global teenagers’ issues to come across long-term solutions in the form of
resolution.
