Kathmandu, January 9, 2019: Google Business Group Kathmandu organized the first of its kind startup meet, ‘GBG BizFest 2019’ on January 5, 2019 at the premises of Galaxy Public School. The event provided a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to network and share the ideas. It also provided a learning platform for students and others who want to start their own businesses in the future.The one-day event was organized in the collaboration with Khalti where around 120 start-ups, app developers and tech communities participated. The group plans to make the BizFest an annual event.
The expo was participated by the startups of various fields such as online game developing companies, animation production, digital marketing, 3D printing, online shopping startups, online education, online medicine, Nepali clothing brands, handicrafts and agro-startups. There was four workshop sessions delivered by the experts at the event on topics ‘Growth Hacking’, ‘Overcoming legal challenges in business’, ‘Google Sheets for Business Growth’, and ‘Ads and Analytics for Business Growth’.
