Prashant Kandel, a 17-years-old boy from Baglung, is a talented computer programmer, graphic designer, and web developer.
A high school graduate from Liverpool International College, Kandel was always passionate about computers since his childhood. He got into this field as a programmer and designer, who has already developed numerous websites and web applications for various organizations at this very young age. He is currently working as a web and graphics designer at Zenith IT solutions.
Kandel boasts knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and Ruby programming languages.
Currently, he is working on a ‘quiz app’ in Apache Cordova framework. He has also been working in android app and learning new programming languages. He is always excited to learn new things in the world of programming.
Apart from these works, he has also designed many logos, visiting cards, and banners for several organizations. He believes in disseminating his knowledge to as many youths as possible, so he started teaching his friends about computer programming application development.
“Computer Science is a booming field and given my passion and interest in this field, I want to inspire teenagers through my work to continue in the field of computer science and application development,” he shared to Glocal Khabar.
In the span of next 5 years, he wants to see himself as one of the renowned computer programmer and professional app developer in Nepal. In a journey of becoming a changemaker, Prashant has inspired many people of his age.
