Kathmandu, September 6, 2018: The application for the Facebook Fellowship Program and Emerging Scholar Awards is now open for the full time PhD students with the deadline of October 12, 2018 at 12:00 am PST. The applicants must be currently involved in any on-going research who are enrolled in an accredited university in any country. The fellowship amount is worth of paid tuition fees for two years, $37,000 as a stipend each year and $5,000 as a travel support to the conference.
The program is designed to encourage and support promising doctoral students who are engaged in innovative and relevant research in areas related to computer science and engineering.First or second year PhD students who fit the criteria of a minority group that is under-represented* in the technology sector have the option of being evaluated for an Emerging Scholar Award.
