Yuwa Launches Youth Studies Batch 10

YUWA, a youth run, youth-led organization working to promote youth participation through empowerment and advocacy, is conducting an academic course on Youth Studies from June 2-7, 2017.

The course is being run by Center of Youth Studies, a research unit in the organization to start the 10thbatch of Youth Studies, an annual credit hour-based course on 2 June 2019 at Thames International College, Purano Baneshwor. The course will last 6 days with 4 hours each day, thus making up to 24 hours in total. It is an intensive inter-disciplinary course initiated by YUWA targeting the young population between the ages of 16-24.

The course is a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge designed especially targeting the needs of young people using youth-friendly methodologies. It will include sessions on Concept of Youth, Socio-political Issues and Youth, Youth Policy: National and Global, Youth and Life skills, Youth and Conflict, Youth Entrepreneurship, Youth and Advocacy, New Media and Networking, Public Speaking, Presentation Skills, and Research Methods. Participants requires to present a research or case study after the completion of the course as part of partial fulfillment of the course.
