Kathmandu, July 26, 2016: Ministry of Home Affairs has informed that 15 people have died across the country due to floods and landslides subsequent to incessant rain.
Joint Secretary and Spokesperson at Home Ministry Yadav Prasad Koirala told that rainfall on Sunday and Monday caused flood and landslide that killed 15 people.
Five people died in Gulmi district while three demised in Makawanpur district.
A person each died in Udaypur, Sindhuli, Kathmandu, Siraha, Palpa, Baglung and Sunsari districts, Koirala said.
Home Ministry has informed that six people are missing due to floods and landslides in different districts.
Exact details of loss of property caused by flood and landslide have not arrive yet.
