Kathmandu, November 13, 2018: One of the biggest festival of Hindu, Chhath is being celebrated today nationwide. This is the festival of purity, faith and good dedicated to Sun which is observed for four days.

Devotees celebrate the festival around the ponds, lakes and rivers and offer arghya to the setting sun today evening till giving argha to next sunrise in the morning. They also dip into the holy rivers by fasting whole day.

Deliciacies like Thakuwa and rice pudding are prepared on this occasion.
