Kathmandu,29 Jan 2015:Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat has urged the Chinese side to complete under-construction development projects in Nepal funded by the government of China soon.
The Finance Minister, during his meeting Thursday with China’s Ambassador for Nepal Wu Chuntai at the Finance Ministry, requested the Chinese side to help ensure timely completion of development projects mainly the widening of Chakrapath ring road in the capital, upgrade of Rasuwagadhi-Tatopani  and Beni-Jomsom road sections and construction of Pokhara Airport. China would get a proper venue for investment and could make maximum utilisation of its investment once the projects are completed, Minister Mahat told Wu, according to his press advisor Gajendra Bista.
In response, Ambassador Wu pledged positive cooperation on his part to help complete the projects on time. China wishes to build an industrial zone and information technology park in Nepal in joint venture,he added.
