Kathmandu,26 Nov 2014: Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay today underscored the need for a collective endeavor on part of all SAARC member states to tackle trafficking, drug, cross-border crime, Climate Change, poverty and realize the dream for change through intra-regional trade.
In his inaugural address to the 18th SAARC Summit, Prime Minister Tobgay called for concerted effort to tap the vast abundance of resources in SAARC region for the benefit of the peoples.
“Poverty alleviation is our region’s unfinished job,” Bhutanese PM said.He also called for regional and international commit to cope up with the impact of climate change.
