Aamir Khan’s PK Kicks Salman Khan And Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year

30 December,2014: Aamir Khan’s PK is on a roll! Breaking record after record, the film is on its way to the top of the most earned films list. “PK” has again set another record by surpassing Rs 200 Crore (2 Billion) earning just in nine days and  beat Shah Rukh Khan’s  “Happy New Year” lifetime record.  Not only that, but it even broke the record of Salman Khan’s “Kick” and became the highest grossing film of the year.

“PK” has also beaten Aamir and Rajkumar Hirani‘s previous records of 3 Idiots

Seems like releasing a film on Christmas works for Aamir Khan. Last year “Dhoom 3” pushed past all the records and this year it’s “PK”.

“PK”s total earning in the second weekend is Rs 53.14 Crore, which is the highest ever recorded. The total overall earning of the film is Rs. 234 Crore Nett aprox.

“PK” pushed back Salman Khan’s “Kick” and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Chennai Express” and now is stands on the third spot in the highest grosser list. It’s even predicted that if the film keeps earning the same way, it will most likely beat Hrithik Roshan’s “Krrish 3” record and take the second spot.

The trade analysts are expecting the film to cross the Rs 300 Crore mark in India. The film is doing very well at collection centres at worldwide box office and if it continues to run in this same pace, it is fair enough to say that the movie will earn Rs. 300 Crore (3 Billion) by the fourth week.
