Earthquake documentary continues to bag accolades

Kathmandu, July 12, 2016: The director of the Nepali documentary film Bhagye le Bacheka Haru, Ganesh Pandey, has bagged the Golden Camera Award at a function organised by the Naashik International Film Festival, in Mumbai.

Prior to this, the documentary had bagged the Best International Documentary Award during the festival that took place earlier this year.

The documentary, which tells the story of those who, very luckily, survived the Great Earthquake, was recently awarded the Best Documentary Award at the Edinburg Nepali Film Festival in the UK.

The documentary has been screened in more than thirty film festivals around the world and is now set to make its rounds in Switzerland and Italy.

Directed by Pandey, the film has been produced under the banner of Shine Media Pvt Ltd and has been filmed by Binod Bista, edited by Kumar Shah, scored by Jugal Dangol and was written by Sapana Shakya and Deepak Koirala.
