1 December,2014: ‘Gossip Girl’ actor William Baldwin is joining the cast of ‘Hot in Cleveland’ for the show’s final season.
The 51-year-old actor will have a recurring role as a Cleveland Plain Dealer reporter investigating a scandal involving Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) and her caretaker Elka (Betty White), according to The Wrap. His character Jake soon finds himself falling for Melanie, even as he continues his investigation against her.
Baldwin is a television veteran, who has been a cast member on the hit programmes ‘Gossip Girl’, ‘Hawaii Five-0′ and’ Parenthood’. He will start work on ‘Hot in Cleveland’ in January as the TV Land show enters production on its final episodes, TV Land announced earlier this month that Hot in Cleveland’s sixth season would be its last.
