Kathmandu, August 4, 2018: Pradeep Gyawali, Foreign Minister said that he is looking forward to bring more direct foreign investment especially European Nations.
As he returned from a weeklong visit to Europe, he said that they are interested in Nepal and find investment area on energy, agriculture sectors and infrastructure development. During his visit, he did urge European leaders for the export of Nepali goods and supply in European Markets. Then in response, they showed concern about Nepal’s government environment, investment, economic policy and inclusion constitution. European leaders are positive about resolving the issues like allowing Nepal to resume its air services to Europe as soon as possible. Nepal also signed an agreement for a consultative mechanism in the favour of strong bilateral relations. Portugal is also looking forward to the area of cooperation along with the agreement with Nepal. Belgium and Luxembourg also held talks on promoting investment and trade expansion with Mr Gyawali.
