Ratnanagar (Chitwan), 16 Oct 2014: Employees serving with BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Chitwan has come up with struggle.
They have launched agitation putting forth eight-point demand including providing them with increased salary.
The stirring employees will stage sit-in before the hospital entrance gate today too as part of a weeklong struggle, said member of Nepal Health Workers Association Ramesh Sharma Poudel.
He said the employees have been on an hour-long sit-in with black band around the wrist from 9.00 am since Wednesday.
Association Chairperson Ramesh Raj Pandey said they have intensified their struggle to have their demands including providing increased salary to employee, implementing the understandings reached among hospital’s employees and executive director and withdrawing decision of employees addressed.
