Kathmandu, March 6, 2018: Nepal Voluntary Blood Donors’ Society is set to organize the third edition of General Convention on April 7, 2018. The motive of the event is to elect a new leadership of the society. The convention will also include the announcement of their organizational expansion in 21 districts of the country.
The two days general convention will have more than 200 participants including 105 representatives from the various districts concerned bodies, and observers.
Prem Sagar Karmacharya (Raktasagar), Society Chairperson, said that” the convention would hold the discussion on various issues including discussion on public awareness regarding blood donation”. Karmacharya has so far donated blood 153 times.
Nepal Voluntary Blood Donors’ Society was established in 2006 with the aim of helping needy people who require blood. Similarly, they also conduct blood donation programmes.
