‘Startup Debate for Visionary’ on March 3 & 4

With emerging startups in Nepal flourishing entrepreneurship, Startups Debate for Visionary is set to be organized in the town aiming to connect the startup companies in Kathmandu with a friendly debate championship. The program will run for 2 days beginning March 3, and the participants on the first day will get debate orientation to compete against other participating teams on the second day.

The participation amount collected from the program is intended to help the cataract surgery, initiated by ‘Make Me See’ community for the needy patients.

Day 1: Debate Aadhar

On the first day, a training about debate will be provided to participants. At the end of the training, debate practice session will also be performed.

Day 2: Debate Championship

The debate championship known as the knockout round will be held on the second day. All participants will be divided into teams where teams will debate in each room at the same time on the same motion. The winners of the two teams after the knockout round will debate for the final round. The debate finals will end with social hour of 2 hours in the evening.

Participation Criteria

Startup companies, at least six-months-old, can participate in the competition, with a max. of two team members. The participation fee is set at NRs.500/- per team member.
