Bharatpur, December 15, 2017: Better Chitwan, a youth-led campaign based in Chitwan has successfully organized ‘Upahaar Nyano Maya’, a program initiated to help the needy students at Divyajyoti Primary School Khairahani, Chitwan.
They distributed sweater and woolen caps for 40 needy and underprivileged students of the school. Principal Ram Bahadur Bogati, expressed his gratitude towards the team for understanding the problem of poor and needy students and helping them.
The program coordinator Samundra Bhattarai said, “We are very happy and pleased to see all these smiling faces by our small effort. Also, we will be continuing our different forms of scholarship programs in the days to come.”
Similarly, the students of the school have promised to keep their school premises clean and by throwing all the wastes in the dustbin.
At last the campaign coordinator Samikshya Paudel, the campaign coordinator took her chance to thank all the helping hands. She also appealed to come together for their next venture in different schools of Madi.
Since last two years the group has supported numbers of unprivileged children in Chitwan and Gorkha: Upahar Nyano Maya for 154 students in Chitwan and BhaagyaBokneJhola for 94 students in Gorkha and Chitwan.
They have been getting supports from Nepalese American Youth Association and Local Girls Youth Club.
