Kathmandu, August 2, 2018: With a series of presentation and interview, the third edition of ICT AWARD, “Netgear ICT Award 2018” has selected five finalists in each “startup” and “product” categories. For the last three years, ICT AWARD is organized by IC Tech Media Private Limited.
According to the organizer, Cell App Innovation, Ek Ghanti Services, Nepali Paisa Media Pvt Ltd, People Development Lab Pvt Ltd and Sarathi Pvt Ltd are selected in the best startup company category. Similarly, in the product category, Isolution Life, Sarathi, Smartpalika, Thirdwheel Nepal and Uddhyami Nepal are selected as the finalists.
The event saw the participation of 27 companies in startup category and 25 in the product category. “A panel of jury members evaluated each of the applicants and the final winner of each category will be decided on the basis of votes of general public added to the points obtained from jury’s markings,” informed coordinator of the event, Tushar Neupaney. Similarly one of the jury members and CEO of Sushmit International, Sushil Pokharel said that they were closely going to work with the winners in the areas of investment and mentorship.
Razan Lamsal, the event organizer informed us that this year’s award had very promising nominations and he assured that the award is very fair.
The finale of the Netgear ICT Award 2018 will be organized on August 17, 2018. The event envisions rewarding the National Heroes of IT Sectors in Nepal. ICT Award will also give a token of appreciation to people that have devoted their lives to the IT sector in Nepal.
