Youth is an essential life stage portrayed by emotional alterations in way of life designs. In this stage of our life, we enjoy to the fullest trying out varieties of food available in the market. They have no dilemma before having deep fried food or not, shouldn’t be much concerned of taking care of cholesterol or diabetes since the metabolism is high in this period; but yes there is limitations to that too.
In this growing stage, youth ought to take heavy breakfast for their well-balanced mood all day. Healthy breakfast includes egg, chicken, cereals, bread, milk and more. Having said this, it the concept of healthy breakfast differs from culture to culture. For example, Punjabi people believes in having potato stuffs potato with lots of butter and a big glass of churned curd. Adopting to healthy eating habit is very necessary. Hearty meal adds a feeling of prosperity, and is a foundation in the preventions of various conditions including heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, asthma and so on.
For youth, healthy food is important for their healthy growth. Today’s generation generally prefers having fast food that is normally high in sugar, undesired fat, and calories and low in nutrients. Still, Junk foods is attracting for kids and youths. Nowadays, youths are spending lots of money going to their favorite cafe or restaurant to try new cuisines. The only reason of junk food popularity and increased trend of consumption is that they have easy to those restaurants and don’t prefer home cooked food much appealing and appetizing. Soft drinks, chips, wafers, noodles, pizza, burgers, french fries are few examples from the vast variety of fast food available in the market. Also celebrities are endorsing the new restaurants and sharing their experience which makes youth more attracted.
Here, guardians plays most significant role in their children’s lives. Preparing healthy food daily and encouraging physical activity are two things we can do to share our value for healthy living. Not only youths but everyone should try to adopt the healthy diet since it is found that food coloring can cause hyper activity. Fast food can be addictive and it is not that easy to give up. Healthy food keeps us away from diseases.
So, In order to stay healthy we have to eat healthy food, do yoga, exercise and maintain good hygiene inside and outside also. If we don’t have proper diet then we became inactive and lazy and slowly became unhealthy. Healthy foods help an individuals in to enhance their physical and mental prosperity. We get more calmness and most importantly far from the diseases.
