Kathmandu, February 28, 2018: Tribhuvan University – Central Department of Environmental Science (TU-CDES), Institute for Social and Environmental Transition-Nepal (ISET-Nepal) and Resources Himalaya Foundation (RHF) are set to organize Graduate Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development (GCESD) known as ‘Himalayan Knowledge Conclave (HKC)’ on April 5 to April 6, 2018 at Hotel Himalaya, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
The fourth edition of this event aims to bring together students, graduates and young researchers from Nepal to present their research, provide review and comment each other’s work. It aspires to develop leadership and public engagement skills of participating graduate by involving them in the conference processes.
The thematic areas of the conference will be on pollution and health, disaster and climate change, ecosystem, biodiversity and agriculture, energy for development, economics and management. Enthusiastic students, graduates and young researchers from Nepal who are currently studying or have graduated with the focus in the areas such as environment, social, economics, sustainable development and related disciplines will be invited to the event.
