Kathmandu: The Nepal government is inviting tourism ministers of 40 countries to participate in the inauguration of Visit Nepal Year, 2020.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mr. Yogesh Bhattarai said that tourism ministers of 40 countries have been invited to participate in the inauguration of the campaign. He conveys information at the ‘VNY 2020 Preparation Meet’ held in Lalitpur on Tuesday organized by Province 3 government’s Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment.
“Preparations are being made for the Visit Nepal 2020 and the Visit Nepal Year Secretariat has corresponded with all provincial governments within the country and all diplomatic missions abroad about the campaign,”- he said on the occasion. Stating that renowned foreign artists would also participate in the event, the minister called for making a grand inauguration of the Visit Nepal Year 2020 with the active participation of the federal, state and local governments as well as the private sector.
The Visit Nepal Year 2020 Campaign will be formally inaugurated on January 1, 2020. He shared that the VNY 2020 inauguration programs have been set to be organized at Nepal’s all foreign diplomatic missions within the first week of January.
The Visit Nepal Year 2020 is making hold the inauguration program will most probably take place at “Dashrath Stadium” in Kathmandu.
