Inter College Science Fest at Budhanilkantha School this Dec 22-23


Kathmandu, December 18, 2016: Science Club of Budhanilkantha School is slated to host the 4th edition of Inter-College Science Festival from December 22. The 2-day event comprises of various activities to promote the intellectual ability of the students through the exhibition of ideas in different forms. Various competitions at the festival include Debate competition, Science Quiz, Math Quiz, Mental Ability Test, and Do It Yourself (DIY) Project Challenge.

On the opening day, December 22, the event will see DIY challenge, Debate, Mathematics Quiz (Qualifiers), Science Quiz (Qualifiers) and Mental Ability Test (Qualifiers). Whereas, the second and last day will host finals of these competitions, and entertainment sessions. The festival will conclude with the prize distribution ceremony for the winners in various competitions.

The competitions are open for both +2 and A-Level students.

Participating colleges can register for the competitions by Tuesday evening, 20th December, with a registration fee of Rs.1000/- per team.

The event is also open for visit general public with an entry fee of Rs. 150, and seeks to attract a total of 1500 visitors.

Apart from general visitors, the festival will also have Himal Karmarcharya, CEO, Leapfrog Inc., and co-founder and CTO of Deerwalk; and Vidhan Rana, Founding Partner, Biruwa Ventures on December 22 as its special guests. Similarly, on 23rd December, the festival will be visited by Mr. Mangesh Thapa, Deputy Director of Technical Department, Buddha Air.
