and Engineering Department of Kathmandu University is going to organize 8th IT MEET Fair. With past
experience of seven conferences, this time also IT fair is going to be held from
Poush 13 to 14, 2075 in Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel. The fair includes
conference, programs and competition regarding information and technology.
IT colleges, students from across Nepal, and the people who are interested in Information technology will be actively participating in this 8th IT MEET. This IT Meet provides information regarding the latest tendencies and achievements of Information technology also there will be various competitions related information technology, where cash and other prizes has been arranged for the winners.
The main goal of this program is to connect through experimentally. Kathmandu University of computer club and fourth year students will be doing more than 20 events, which also include 40-hour code hackathon (staying 40 hours in same place and making apps). This is the Mahakumbh fair for students (Undergraduate level) of Information Technology, where more than 10 thousand information technology peers will participate.
This meet which is titled as “Digitize-Innovate-Lead” is going to be digitized completely, where online registration, online voting and other activities of participants will also be digitized. In this meet the best college will be awarded as a Best College of the IT Meet based on the number of different activities. Before the eighth edition of the IT Meet, six different programs regarding information technology has been already done in the month of Mangsir and Poush which includes such as machine learning and cloud.
