Kathmandu, January 15, 2017: IT Meet 2017, an annual mega tech event of the Kathmandu University Computer Club(KUCC) is set to be held this January 20-22 at Kathmandu University premises in Dhulikhel.
As envisioned by KUCC to empower youths to promote their technical talent that will ultimately produce a technically reinforced society, the programme is organized to advocate that problems can be solved using an innovative approach by bringing IT students and professionals together in a podium and share the solution to the general public.
IT Meet is a platform that gives momentum to the ICT campaign. KUCC has been organizing the event every year, commencing from 2006. The event this year will strive to tirelessly probe the enhancement of IT throughout the nation and assist the overall development.
As part of the event, various activities will be conducted, including Developers Meetup, Hackathon, coding, software and hardware competitions, gaming competitions (FIFA, CS, DOTA, Clash Royale, etc.) and also Nepal’s first ever penetration testing competition.
The event will also see Screening of popular Nepali movies Kalo Pothi and Bijuli Machine. There will also be a slow Scooty Racing competition, and Nepal’s first ethical hacking competition ‘HACK BACK’ among others.
