April 6, 2015:Â In order to tribute to late leader Ramnath Dhakal of the CPN-UML , the body has been kept at party’s central office, Balkhu, since 8:00 am.
Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli paid tribute to the late leader draping party flag over the body of dhakal who passed away due to swine flue at Grande Hospital of the capital city on sunday afternoon.
Likewise, Constituent Assembly Chairman Subash Nembang, senior leaders of the party and former prime ministers Jhalanath Khanal and Madhav Kumar Nepal, Nepali Congress leaders Arjun Narsing KC, Rajya Laxmi Shrestha, Ranjit Karna, RPP-Nepal’s Chairman Kamal Thapa, UCPN (Maoist) leader Top Bahadur Rayamajhi and many other ministers have reached Balkhu for the tribute.
Similarly, the emergency meeting with the party standing committee expressed deep sorrow over leader Dhakal’s death and sympathy to the sadden family wishing the eternal peace to the departed soul.
It was informed that for the cremation, the body would be taken to the Pashupati Aryghat  today itself.
Likewise, the party flag will be placed at half-mast in all offices of the party across the country. The formal programme has been postponed for at least three days. A condolence book to be kept at party office organizing a condolence gathering on April 17 has been decided by the party.
The death of leader Dhakal is irrecoverable loss to the party. He was the youth leader with determination, talent and advocacy to strengthen party organization, show skills on parliamentary affairs and sharpen democratic movements, said Chairman Oli, in a condolence note. He also expressed the heartfelt condolence to the family on behalf of the party central committee.
