Kathmandu, March 22, 2018: Cottage and Small Industries Development Committee (CSDB) is all set to organize the twenty-ninth ‘National Industrial and Products and Technology Exhibition’ from March 23 to March 27, 2018, at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.
The expo is being organized with the slogan ‘Use Local Products to Move Towards Prosperity’. Cottage and small entrepreneurs from all 77 districts will participate in the expo. As many as 500,000 visitors are expected to visit the expo. 300 stalls which includes bamboo products, food products, Mithila arts, apple products, apparels from natural fiber, and leather products will be showcased in the expo. There will also be live demonstration of pottery, paper making, screen printing, sweater knitting.
According to the organizer visitors get free entry to the expo. The expo is expected to be participated by exporters, importers, entrepreneurs, teachers, students, traders as well as foreigners. They also added that around 80 million worth of transaction is expected in this year’s expo.
Nabin Kumar Jha, Executive Director of CSDB said that the main motive of organizing the expo is to promote local level products and products of cottage and small industries. The Board will also award the best Cottage and Small entrepreneurs in the country.
