Kathmandu, June 19, 2017: Ncell has handed over Ncell Scholarships and Excellence Awards to topper engineering students of Electronics, Electrical and Communication, and Computer faculties of Central Campus Pulchowk, Institute of Engineering (IOE), aiming to encourage academic excellence in engineering education.
Ncell’s Director of Corporate Services, Mr. Pranay Raj Acharya, and Legal Director Ambar Thapa handed over the scholarship to the topper students.
12 scholarship receivers include 3 toppers from each Electrical, Electronics and Computer faculties and 1 female topper among all female students of these three faculties from each batch. Likewise, Ncell Excellence Awards was given to the graduates passing out with top scores from each of these faculties and also to 1 female student graduating with top scores among all female students of these three faculties.
The scholarship was distributed as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of the company, and carries a purse of Rs 100,000 each to the topper students.
The company had instituted Ncell Scholarship and Excellence Awards at Central Campus Pulchowk, IoE with an aim to support technological education and contribute to the development of skilled human resources.
