Golbazaar (Siraha), Dec 10: A woman lost her life in a van-truck collision at Bhagawanpur-9, Siraha along the East-West Highway this morning. Other five passengers including three of magic van sustained injuries in the accident.
According to Police Inspector of District Traffic Police Office, Lahan, Basudev Yadav, an unidentified women roughly at her 65 died when a magic van (Na 1 Ja 331) collided with a truck (Na 3 Kha 8794).
The dead body has been kept at Lahan Hospital for post-mortem.
The injured are Bal Chandra Mukhiya and Nisu Singh of Dhangadhi-2, Nathuniya Sadaya of Dhangadhi-3, Jitanidevi Saha and Rubi Devi Sah and of Michaiya-2. They are being treated at Lahan Hospital.
The Area Police Office, Dhangadhi has arrested the drivers of both the vehicles.
