Janakpurdham, Feb 8: Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Chairman Mahantha Thakur has said that dialogue with ruling parties was possible only if the Questionnaire Formulation Committee was dissolved.
Talking briefly to media persons here today, Thakur said they would hold talks with the ruling parties if they agreed to promulgate the new constitution through consensus. Stating that the agitation programme would be continued, he said solution should be found out on the disputed issues through consensus as constitution along with inclusion and identity is the party’s bottom-line.
Responding to a query, the TMLP Chairman said, “The statement by CPN (UML) Chairman KP Oli regarding Madhes is condemnable. Such statement is being protested within UML as well.”
