New Delhi, September 16, 2016:Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on a four-day state visit to India, was welcomed with guard of honor at the Rastrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Friday.
A special contingent of the Indian Army accorded a guard of honor to PM who arrived Indian capital New Delhi on Thursday at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the occasion, Indian PM welcomed PM Dahal as well as met with the Nepali delegation comprising PM’s spouse Sita Dahal and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak, among others.
In a short while, PM Dahal will visit Rajghat in New Delhi and lay a wreath at Mahatma Gandhi’s cemetery.
According to PM’s India visit itinerary, PM Dahal is also scheduled to hold important meetings, including a courtesy call on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Indian Prime Minister Modi today.
