Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in Geneva, Switzerland, hosted the Visit Nepal 2020 event in Milan, Italy. Speaking at the event, Mr.Maniprasad Bhattarai, Nepal’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Italy, emphasized the rich combination of nature, culture and adventure that Nepal’s tourism sector provides to visitors from around the world throughout the year.
On the occasion, the Ambassador invited Italian nationals and Nepalese diasporas to visit Nepal with their friends and family in 2020 and to make the Nepal 2020 campaign successful.
During the program the Honorary Consul General of Nepal, Paulo Nugari spoke on the various aspects of Visit Nepal 2020, including places of tourism importance and presented the facts and figures related to Nepal tourism.

The program consisted of 20 stories on Nepal tourism products and a section of the magazine devoted exclusively to Nepalese tourist attractions.
At the event, a video was also featured in Visit Nepal, presented Nepali cultural dances. The organizer had covered the program and distributed tourism promotion materials to many Nepalese cuisine and participants. The event was attended by altogether 130 Italian guests, academicians, tour operators, friends of Nepal, media persons, representatives of NRNA.
