Biratnagar, May 27, 2018: BitsInnovation conducted seminar on “ICT and Cyber Security For Girls” in East Jhapa after successfully organizing “Python Django Workshop For Girls” in Biratnagar in 5th and 6th Jestha.
The 2 hour long seminar on “ICT and Cyber Security For Girls” was organized in Makamana Higher Secondary School, Birtamod. The girls participants from Class 8-10 were given briefing about the Girls in ICT Initiative and current scenario and opportunities for Girls in the field of ICT By CTO of BitsInnovation Mr. Santosh Purbey. For the second session of “Cyber Security For Girls” COO of BitsInnovation Mr. Pratik Basyal briefed the participants about Cyber Crime,Types of Cyber Crime,Cases of Cyber Crime,Cyber Laws of Nepal and Cyber Security Techniques to be implemented in the Cyber Space.
About 75 girls participants from class 8,9,10 were present in the seminar and each participants were provided with Khalti Vouhcer of Rs. 50 rupees to get aware about the digital payment gateway technology.
With the help of questionnaires provided to the participants at the start of the event,data analysis over the review was done over by Mr. Summit Shrestha and Visual Presentation of the data in the form of Bar Graph and Pie chart was presented by Mr. Aashish Gurung.
