Nepal Police Club wins Kathmandu International Taekwondo Championship

Kathmandu, February 13, 2017: Nepal Police Club won the team trophy of the first Kathmandu International Taekwondo Championship here on Sunday.

NPC claimed three gold, four silver and two bronze medals in senior category. Yeti Taekwondo Dojang won two gold medals to finish second, while Bhutan came third with one gold, three silver and two bronze medals. United Taekwondo Dojang of Nepal came first in cadet section with five gold and two bronze medals.

In junior’s section, India bagged four gold, one silver and three bronze medals to won the team championship, while Sitapaila Dojang won three gold, two silver and three bronze medals to finish second and Koteshwor Dojang came third with two each gold and silver medals and six bronzes. Koteshwor Dojang’s Ujjwal Guragain and Dina Marisiya of Indonesia were named the best players.
